Bakhita Gardens in Belltown, a beautiful purpose, but not as beautiful looking.

This six story project at 2301 Second Avenue will provide housing for 90 Homeless Women in Belltown, and it’s a tribute to everyone involved with this project that it is getting built.

But I’ve got to be honest and say the ‘building inside of another building’ look isn’t my favorite design. However, to be positive,  really like the street level treatment in front because it really does makes you forget about the four olivey stories above. (Oh yeah, this ‘building inside a building’ look can also be found in Vulcan’s Alcyone Apartments)
