Striking downtown skyscraper design unveiled today
Pretty cool design for downtown Fifth and Columbia building. It’s refreshing to see so much thought and care going into a building’s design by ‘paying homage to its neighbors‘.

I long wondered why we don’t have more of these kinds of building in downtown. As we build up and our downtown strees become more like canyons, reflective surfaces like this, used and angled appropriately, can bring some daylight to sun-starved Seattleites.
Good point, I didn’t even think of the sunlight angle! I have a feeling that this building when completed will be as much of a landmark as the downtown library.
